Art.Africa applies a commission structure to support ongoing operations and promotions
that benefit all users:
For individual artists, there is a 40% commission on sales. Curators face a 30% commission,
and galleries are subject to a 25% commission. These fees are strictly for platform usage.
Additionally, local taxes and duties based on their location, may apply to sales on the
platform.
These commissions are viewed as an investment in the artistic journey on Art.Africa. They
enable the platform to maintain secure infrastructure and facilitate extensive marketing
efforts to reach a high quality and broader audience of art enthusiasts and collectors,
thereby maximising the potential for success. Understanding these fees upfront empowers
